Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 2.21% or 6.0 points to trade at 277.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.86% or 4.0 points to end at 219.6 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.82% or 2.4 points to 293.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 1.31% or 4.3 points to trade at 324.3 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.26% or 6.5 points to end at 508.5 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 1.15% or 2.9 points to 250.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 62 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.34% or 1.14 to $49.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.14% or 1.09 to hit $51.96 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.33% or 4.15 to trade at $1265.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.01% to 6.6422, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4406.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 96.17.
