Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.71% or 4.5 points to trade at 267.8 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.34% or 0.51 points to end at 38.55 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.28% or 7.0 points to 554.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.80% or 2.5 points to trade at 311.2 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.45% or 5.0 points to end at 1098.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 0.14% or 0.2 points to 138.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 43 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.24% or 0.54 to $44.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.25% or 0.57 to hit $46.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.55% or 7.15 to trade at $1317.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.6670, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4501.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 95.74.
