Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which rose 1.84% or 9.5 points to trade at 526.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) added 0.96% or 0.85 points to end at 89.85 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) was up 0.92% or 3.0 points to 327.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa), which fell 0.39% or 50 points to trade at 12700 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) declined 0.38% or 50 points to end at 13110 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 0.27% or 0.9 points to 331.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 52 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.92% or 3.0 to 327.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.65% or 1.00 to $59.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.75% or 1.17 to hit $65.38 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.7574, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4556.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.70% at 96.13.
