Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.44% or 38.0 points to trade at 1142.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.56% or 4.3 points to end at 279.3 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.29% or 2.7 points to 212.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 4.34% or 14.7 points to trade at 324.0 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.99% or 7.6 points to end at 246.3 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 1.80% or 6.0 points to 326.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 54 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.99% or 7.6 to 246.3. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.29% or 2.7 to 212.4.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.57% or 0.77 to $49.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.64% or 0.82 to hit $50.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.75 to trade at $1269.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.8286, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 98.94.
