Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 2.59% or 3.4 points to trade at 134.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.26% or 21.0 points to end at 951.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.03% or 2.60 points to 255.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 1.06% or 2.9 points to trade at 269.7 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.71% or 2.0 points to end at 281.4 and Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) was down 0.51% or 2.3 points to 447.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.65% or 0.27 to $41.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.26% or 0.11 to hit $43.21 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1233.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.5769, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4413.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 94.47.
