Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 1.92% or 190 points to trade at 10100 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.74% or 165 points to end at 9640 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.42% or 0.47 points to 33.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 2.04% or 4.7 points to trade at 225.9 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.01% or 2.7 points to end at 265.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.39% or 1.5 points to 382.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 52 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.04% or 4.7 to 225.9.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.52% or 0.27 to $51.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.97% or 0.53 to hit $54.99 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.65% or 7.65 to trade at $1170.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.75% to 6.9226, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4400.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.47% at 100.28.
