Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 3.34% or 2.05 points to trade at 63.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.76% or 7.6 points to end at 283.1 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.73% or 14.5 points to 855.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 2.34% or 6.00 points to trade at 250.70 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.11% or 2.8 points to end at 129.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.79% or 7.6 points to 417.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.90% or 0.38 to $41.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.94% or 0.42 to hit $44.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.09% or 13.70 to trade at $1247.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.82% to 6.5926, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.72% at 94.70.
