Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which rose 2.65% or 16.0 points to trade at 619.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 2.28% or 7.1 points to end at 318.6 and COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) was up 2.22% or 12.5 points to 575.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which fell 4.46% or 38.0 points to trade at 813.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 1.41% or 9.5 points to end at 665.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 0.65% or 2.3 points to 351.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 67 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 2.65% or 16.0 to 619.5. Shares in COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.22% or 12.5 to 575.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 4.64% or 2.47 to $55.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 4.22% or 2.52 to hit $62.34 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.30% or 3.60 to trade at $1196.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.43% to 7.0399, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4670.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 99.16.
