Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.37% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.31% or 0.46 points to trade at 35.49 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.94% or 2.5 points to end at 268.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.79% or 2.00 points to 255.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 1.18% or 0.70 points to trade at 58.70 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.78% or 9.0 points to end at 1148.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.37% or 0.5 points to 134.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 56 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.79% or 0.80 to $43.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.75% or 0.81 to hit $45.39 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.76% or 10.05 to trade at $1320.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.58% to 6.7864, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4388.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.54.
