Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.74% or 5.3 points to trade at 310.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.57% or 13.0 points to end at 842.5 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.57% or 145 points to 9355 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 1.67% or 7.5 points to trade at 441.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.60% or 4.3 points to end at 264.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.86% or 4.1 points to 470.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 3.84% or 1.81 to $45.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 3.60% or 1.77 to hit $47.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 4.80 to trade at $1186.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 7.0018, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4403.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 101.15.
