Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.15% or 1.7 points to trade at 149.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.06% or 4.3 points to end at 411.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.03% or 2.80 points to 275.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.23% or 13.0 points to trade at 1045.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.47% or 3.0 points to end at 630.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.36% or 0.5 points to 138.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 59 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.15% or 1.7 to 149.0. Shares in ISS A/S (CO:ISS) rose to all time highs; up 1.03% or 2.80 to 275.80.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.36% or 0.61 to $45.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.44% or 0.68 to hit $47.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.45 to trade at $1347.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.6284, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.03.
