Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 11.43% or 122.0 points to trade at 1189.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 6.93% or 15.7 points to end at 242.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.27% or 3.0 points to 240.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 2.57% or 6.50 points to trade at 246.10 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.69% or 14.0 points to end at 816.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.17% or 5.9 points to 499.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 62 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.81% or 0.82 to $44.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.34% or 0.63 to hit $46.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.35% or 4.55 to trade at $1303.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.7004, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4398.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 97.21.
