Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 7.19% or 18.1 points to trade at 270.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) added 5.37% or 13.7 points to end at 269.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 3.08% or 330 points to 11060 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which fell 5.93% or 7.8 points to trade at 123.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 1.92% or 15.5 points to end at 793.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was down 1.04% or 3.8 points to 360.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 68 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (COP:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 7.19% or 18.1 to 270.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.83% or 0.41 to $49.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $52.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.28% or 14.70 to trade at $1159.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.90% to 6.5572, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4610.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 94.81.
