Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Services and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.87% or 16.0 points to trade at 873.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.76% or 16.0 points to end at 923.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.25% or 3.7 points to 299.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.57% or 135 points to trade at 8455 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.32% or 110 points to end at 8250 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was down 0.94% or 1.2 points to 125.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.76% or 1.44 to $36.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 4.02% or 1.62 to hit $38.71 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.52% or 18.80 to trade at $1216.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.5351, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4485.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 94.60.
