Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 2.31% or 14.5 points to trade at 642.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.77% or 1.15 points to end at 66.30 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.69% or 8.5 points to 511.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 0.94% or 10.0 points to trade at 1049.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.88% or 2.7 points to end at 304.8 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 0.72% or 6.0 points to 833.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 62 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.88% or 2.7 to 304.8.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.04% or 1.31 to $44.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.06% or 1.39 to hit $46.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.56% or 7.35 to trade at $1324.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.6696, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4402.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.89.
