Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 5.83% or 2.07 points to trade at 37.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 0.92% or 0.60 points to end at 65.60 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.86% or 2.30 points to 271.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 0.51% or 1.3 points to trade at 252.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.23% or 0.7 points to end at 304.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 1080.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 54 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.38% or 0.60 to $44.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.14% or 0.98 to hit $46.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.50% or 6.65 to trade at $1319.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6254, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4457.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 95.36.
