Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.22% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 4.43% or 11.0 points to trade at 259.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.34% or 6.0 points to end at 262.7 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.52% or 0.85 points to 56.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.80% or 22.0 points to trade at 1202.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.98% or 8.5 points to end at 862.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.59% or 1.6 points to 267.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 4.36% or 1.95 to $46.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 4.52% or 2.09 to hit $48.34 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.80% or 24.45 to trade at $1332.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.7073, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 96.33.
