Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 1.22% or 2.9 points to trade at 241.1 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) added 1.01% or 5.5 points to end at 551.5 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.96% or 0.75 points to 78.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which fell 1.39% or 150 points to trade at 10660 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) declined 1.37% or 5.2 points to end at 375.3 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was down 1.33% or 140 points to 10350.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 71 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.39% or 150 to 10660. Shares in A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.33% or 140 to 10350.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.98% or 0.87 to $44.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $47.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.50 to trade at $1103.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.6186, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4614.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.40% at 95.77.
