Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.03% or 6.3 points to trade at 316.3 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 1.84% or 2.1 points to end at 116.2 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.73% or 6.6 points to 387.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.06% or 6.0 points to trade at 285.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.12% or 0.40 points to end at 35.24 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.63% or 2.8 points to 440.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 60 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.29% or 0.13 to $45.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.32% or 0.15 to hit $46.64 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.69% or 8.35 to trade at $1208.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 7.0222, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4411.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 101.33.
