Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which rose 2.91% or 9.2 points to trade at 325.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 1.24% or 4.1 points to end at 336.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was up 1.02% or 3.4 points to 335.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding (COP:WDH), which fell 2.21% or 12.0 points to trade at 530.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) declined 1.03% or 2.1 points to end at 201.2 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was down 0.68% or 0.35 points to 51.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 60 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.29% or 0.78 to $61.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.78% or 1.12 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.90 to trade at $1177.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.48% to 6.6772, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.12% at 95.58.
