Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 0.78% or 2.1 points to trade at 272.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.43% or 3.5 points to end at 821.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.30% or 0.6 points to 202.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.31% or 2.9 points to trade at 217.9 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.21% or 3.5 points to end at 285.3 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.20% or 4.7 points to 388.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 53 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.27% or 0.64 to $49.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 0.61 to hit $51.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1256.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.7681, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4414.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 97.90.
