Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.13% or 23.0 points to trade at 1103.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.46% or 3.8 points to end at 263.3 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 1.39% or 1.9 points to 138.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.72% or 280 points to trade at 10020 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.02% or 5.1 points to end at 247.4 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.93% or 190 points to 9650.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 68 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.16% or 0.95 to $42.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.67% or 0.78 to hit $45.81 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 6.15 to trade at $1311.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.82% to 6.6768, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4483.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.78% at 96.02.
