Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.43% or 340 points to trade at 10240 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.27% or 310 points to end at 9790 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.98% or 7.5 points to 259.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 1.20% or 3.7 points to trade at 304.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.92% or 7.5 points to end at 804.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.65% or 2.6 points to 397.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.36% or 1.07 to $46.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.77% or 0.83 to hit $47.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.05% or 13.95 to trade at $1345.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.6405, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4549.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 95.17.
