Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 2.20% or 7.0 points to trade at 324.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 2.01% or 6.8 points to end at 344.5 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.79% or 0.70 points to 89.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 2.21% or 13.0 points to trade at 575.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 2.00% or 260 points to end at 12750 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 1.79% or 240 points to 13160.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 73 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.20% or 7.0 to 324.5. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.01% or 6.8 to 344.5.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.09% or 1.82 to $60.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.58% or 1.68 to hit $66.70 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.50 to trade at $1204.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.7012, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4553.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 95.36.
