Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 1.22% or 115 points to trade at 9520 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.97% or 95 points to end at 9920 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.85% or 1.6 points to 190.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 0.82% or 9.0 points to trade at 1094.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.65% or 1.8 points to end at 274.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 0.47% or 4.0 points to 849.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $47.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.16 to hit $49.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.90 to trade at $1326.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.49% to 6.6302, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4456.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.54% at 95.19.
