Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.72% or 9.9 points to trade at 373.9 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 2.26% or 6.7 points to end at 303.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.29% or 3.00 points to 235.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 1.12% or 2.3 points to trade at 203.1 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.82% or 2.4 points to end at 289.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.52% or 0.6 points to 114.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 70 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.07% or 0.03 to $45.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.17% or 0.08 to hit $46.87 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1226.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.9531, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 100.28.
