Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 2.44% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.07% or 140.0 points to trade at 6910.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.79% or 30.0 points to end at 1705.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 0.54% or 15.0 points to 2775.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which fell 10.85% or 1680.0 points to trade at 13800.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 8.65% or 1280.0 points to end at 13520.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 6.16% or 155.0 points to 2360.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 5 and 2 ended unchanged.

US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.74% or 0.93 to $125.70 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.57% or 19.00 to hit $3322.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.33% or 3.50 to trade at $1070.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.91% to 3064.55, while BRL/COP fell 2.02% to 818.68.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 99.80.
