Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH), which rose 0.47% or 100.0 points to trade at 21220.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 0.41% or 40.0 points to end at 9660.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was up 0.41% or 5.0 points to 1205.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 5.42% or 430.0 points to trade at 7510.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 4.98% or 1320.0 points to end at 25200.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 4.43% or 85.0 points to 1835.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.63% or 0.85 to $134.03 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.23% or 7.00 to hit $3101.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.28% or 3.30 to trade at $1167.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.67% to 2912.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.64% to 748.52.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 94.79.
