Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.67% or 150.0 points to trade at 5760.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.16% or 20.0 points to end at 12520.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 0.12% or 5.0 points to 4305.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which fell 1.82% or 660.0 points to trade at 35620.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 1.79% or 200.0 points to end at 10960.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 1.73% or 60.0 points to 3400.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 25 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.37% or 0.50 to $134.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.40% or 13.00 to hit $3266.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1172.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 2559.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.82% to 819.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 95.39.
