Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 0.36% or 40.0 points to trade at 11040.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 0.32% or 120.0 points to end at 38120.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.22% or 60.0 points to 27100.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 4.01% or 110.0 points to trade at 2635.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.77% or 400.0 points to end at 10200.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 2.41% or 35.0 points to 1415.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.36% or 3.18 to $137.68 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.40% or 12.50 to hit $3134.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.75 to trade at $1277.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.99% to 2970.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.33% to 867.23.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 94.59.
