Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.35% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.64% or 190.0 points to trade at 7400.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 2.14% or 150.0 points to end at 7150.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.64% or 380.0 points to 59380.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 2.83% or 45.0 points to trade at 1545.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 2.66% or 270.0 points to end at 9870.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 1.53% or 200.0 points to 12900.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 12.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to all time lows; losing 2.66% or 270.0 to 9870.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.35% or 0.42 to $120.50 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.50% or 49.00 to hit $3228.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.55% or 6.10 to trade at $1108.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.34% to 2837.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.54% to 746.36.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.77% at 97.99.
