Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 4.60% or 330.0 points to trade at 7500.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 3.76% or 270.0 points to end at 7450.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 3.09% or 0.6 points to 20.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.18% or 160.0 points to trade at 13440.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) declined 0.95% or 30.0 points to end at 3135.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) was down 0.42% or 5.0 points to 1180.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 22 to 4.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.08% or 1.55 to $141.57 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.76% or 21.00 to hit $2798.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.57% or 6.80 to trade at $1193.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.24% to 2459.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.27% to 825.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.80% at 97.45.
