Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.49% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.50% or 60.0 points to trade at 1775.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 3.00% or 100.0 points to end at 3435.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.45% or 110.0 points to 7680.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 3.12% or 50.0 points to trade at 1555.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.75% or 0.3 points to end at 16.8 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 0.52% or 30.0 points to 5710.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.04% or 0.05 to $114.83 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.25% or 7.00 to hit $2813.00 , while the April Gold contract fell 0.49% or 5.90 to trade at $1192.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.38% to 3380.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.53% to 860.14.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 95.99.
