Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.89% or 420.0 points to trade at 22600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.46% or 140.0 points to end at 5840.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 1.54% or 560.0 points to 36900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 7.44% or 790.0 points to trade at 9830.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.08% or 90.0 points to end at 4235.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 2.06% or 70.0 points to 3320.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 12 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.96% or 1.27 to $131.18 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.11% or 70.00 to hit $3251.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.64% or 7.50 to trade at $1171.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.62% to 2605.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.89% to 837.70.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.68% at 95.72.
