Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.13% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 3.35% or 240.0 points to trade at 7410.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 2.58% or 1600.0 points to end at 63600.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.34% or 100.0 points to 7580.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 1.28% or 50.0 points to trade at 3850.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 0.95% or 0.2 points to end at 20.8 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 0.50% or 140.0 points to 27620.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 11 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.05% or 1.45 to $139.15 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.00% or 29.00 to hit $2940.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.79% or 9.60 to trade at $1204.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.66% to 2392.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.63% to 807.92.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.90% at 95.32.
