Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Public Services, Industrials and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 7.99% or 940.0 points to trade at 12700.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 6.16% or 350.0 points to end at 6030.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 3.55% or 105.0 points to 3065.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.98% or 260.0 points to trade at 12840.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.76% or 85.0 points to end at 4750.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was down 1.66% or 600.0 points to 35600.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 15 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.47% or 3.45 to $136.07 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.35% or 11.00 to hit $3127.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.20 to trade at $1209.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.04% to 2487.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.07% to 828.20.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.64.
