Switzerland’s retail sales rise unexpectedly

Investing.com - Retail sales in Switzerland rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, the Federal Statistics Bureau said that retail sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.3%, from 1.5% in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 1.8%.

Analysts had expected retail sales to remain unchanged at 1.8% last month.
