Andrew MacKillop is an energy and natural resource sector professional with over 30 years experience in more than 12 countries.
His experience of corporate-level energy strategy change management extends back to the late 1970s (with British Columbia's BC Hydro corporation - electric power and transport). Mr MacKillop's first degree was a Master's equivalent in economic development and economics at University College London (UCL), London UK.
Previous technical experience of Mr MacKillop includes Metallurgy & Physics research at the UK Royal Aircraft Establishment.
Mr MacKillop has directed research and carried our teaching duties in a number of linked domains, notably urban planning and development, at University of London's School of Environment Studies (1970-72), London Regent Street Polytechnic Urban Planning department (1970-72), Carleton University Ottawa (1974), Hull School of Architecture UK (1978-79), and elsewhere.
Regarding habitat, construction and facilities management, Mr MacKillop has developed, directed, administered or coordinated numerous projects for improved energy management and engineering technology in several countries (most recent project with Solidere, Beirut, 2011) and he has executed many research missions in this field.
