In anticipation of the 2nd anniversary of the January 25th revolution, riots and potential for clashes, investors are waiting and watching the 25th and 26th of Jan. either as 2 peaceful days, or two days that will take Egypt stability back to the Tahrir square. I believe it will pass by without a harm to the economy, because Egyptians realized the effect of their doings on their economy.

Add to the above that Egypt is at the doorsteps of parliamentary elections; majority of the opposition parties are focusing now on their election campaign so that the Muslim Brothers can't control the majority in the upcoming parliament.

The anniversary went off peacefully except for minor clashes, but what took the market down today Jan 27th is the court ruling on the Port Said case sending 21 of the accused to death by hanging, and the reaction of the people of Port Said protesting against such court decision.
