Further, it is involved in building and selling ground-mounted power stations; the sale of thin-film power modules; and research, development, and sale of thin-film power application products. The company has operations in Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, and internationally. Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited has a strategic cooperation agreement with Deuter & Bahama to co-design and develop solar backpacks and solar powered parasols. The company was formerly known as Hanergy Solar Group Limited and changed its name to Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited in September 2014. The company is headquartered in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Hanergy Thin Film Power Group Limited is a subsidiary of Hanergy Investment Limited.
