going up or not..?

i dont think it will make another 100 pips up this week , though most big banks forecasts still put it at 105 by end-year. I closed all long trades in profit and will probably sit it out until the next retracement, just to be sure. look at the weekly / monthly. Any time this year it shot up this big the next ones are all white/red candles. Whatever it causes, crises in emerging markets plane crashes or just plain profit taking by the big whales, could be anything. Mss. Yellen does not have a reputation of stirring up the market, her style is to keep it as level as possible, or so im told (and so ive heard in one live speech i watched) so i personally dont expect it to jolt at the FOMC statement since it already did on the prelim GDP ... which is prelim and might still be revised :). there's never a certainty, if you're in for the long term i suppose you could still hold but i prefer to close several times and take the same trades several times since these things go up and down. IF all major banks agree the endgame this year will be 105-107 and it starts at 102 then as you can see on the weekly/monthly/daily this does not happen in one straight line. I even read some , euh, reports pitting the dollar versus yen as high as 115 by end 2015 but i suppose too many things can happen by then still. My words are not advice for someone else, these are just the things i do and how i see them. Tomorrows unemployment report might still have a jolt in it depending on wether it complements the GDP forecast or otherwise, since major money is quick to selloff it might trigger a fast bear. Who knows? we'll see.. On my USDJPY act, which is the main since its most likely the predictions are right because of what both govts are actively doing i have made this year 1231 trades of those there are maybe 30 shorts, all the rest long since the trend was up at the beginning of year, 92.45% of all trades were profit, i go by news and trend, no pivot points, no macdaddies, trendlines, news and fibonacci. I never use automated, no EA's, i always trade live, 5 days a week starting 23:00 on sunday when sydney opens. Ive been at it for a few years and im actually turning profit, but my capital is low, compound intrest however ... seems to be working. I cant explain since theres no system there's me, the radio, the internet and the trend, clicking a lot and putting in very few pending trades.. Good luck no matter what, find what works for you, it IS possible but not by just looking for the holy grail or taking someone elses system, im pretty much convinced of that

i should add since i started out with very little i have taken crazy risk, running the edge quite a few times but the more money you get the less risk you need to take. I cant advise anyone since there is no system to it and it would probably be illegal for me where i live and how things are right now to work with other peoples money, this is also the first year its actually going straight, last year i ended at -$9 exactly because of june/july. I just want to state with a lot of time put in it it does seem to be possible. If i had about ten times the capital i could live off it quite royally compared to what i have now. So, be careful and dont lose hope or burn out and good luck again, may the pip be with you all :p (and lets hope no lehman bros happens anywhere in the near future)

I really enjoy your writing buddy. What you said is true, I'm a beginner as well here. Have been trying to get to know something for a year or so. It's kinda difficult at first. Got the profit, but then the next loss was BIGGER. It happened again and again. However, oneself must try to solve the problem. I have no system and other sort of thing as well. Just like you, by data and news. Now I have learnt something to hold on to it. At least I'm heading to the correct way. Not saying that I'm good at it now since I have to make up for 10x of loss I had when I just started to learn this thing. Now i got my own principals to keep me on the right track. Be patient and don't be greedy, sit tight, make decision and watch it grow. Good luck to all of us. May the pips come to us. :)
