1.2948 not a very strong close below 1.3000. Bears would be happier at or near 1.2900. Next week sees the USD and their core inflation which has missed 2/5 MoM previous readings. Last year core CPI was flat so anything above 0% would be positive for USD going forward. As for the CAD, manufacturing sales on Friday may continue to point to frustration and to why the CAD is not translating into better manufacturing. Overall, the weak close and minimal economic data could hold the pair between 1.2900 and 1.3000.

I can see this as a peak before it actually starts fighting at 1.34 mark.
