am, looks a bit late in the day after a decent move up.... 250 is the round number, the pivot is a bit higher but I think its done for the day. USDBRL is still breaking down from its upward channel on the 1d and ICE still drops, should be enough to get coffee the otherside of 250 this week

We had this problem a long time ago. The plants became very beautiful with rains in the winter, but instead of flowers came leaves.
that's so true and allso when it rains to much you are not able to collect coffee on time too.
Super strong on the bounce there.... 250 will go, just not sure if it will be today but looks good so far, problem is that's a +4% move for the day... we may get a 6-7% day if the move is today

 Steven good article! That's why Robusta was at new ATH not so long ago. Real logistics problem opposite to Arabica. Robusta is mainly from Asia. This scenario is unlikely with Arabica as we do not have full warehouses with hidden coffee or better to say I do not believe in them :)

Looks like that nobody are able to make it, also the real problem is not only the short Brazilian short crop coming but the stock reality , warehoyses are empty

Coffee should reach 350 at least. Coffee should become a drink for rich people. Why care about middle class and poor people, they can drink tea- tea is cheaper. Coffee should become a hard to get commodity even when there's plenty of it. Boom, boom shake the room. who cares about those who won't be able to afford it, we make money, we rich, them could watch.

Okay. Sorry if I misunderstood you. Because Brazil is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, they sometimes forget that more than 60% of these producers are from family farming (small producers) and the rest most came from small producers who managed to prosper with their own sweat.

A question to forum :). Considering the weather was cooperative (productivity wise) and price was not very stimulative to sell, for Jan 1, 2021 what initial free stocks for Brazil you would consider reasonable? Do not hesitate to call any numbers you feel are right. :) Under initial free stocks please, consider the stocks that can be sold to any buyer for immediate export.
If the range feels to be more appopriate please, indicate the higher number. :)
ICE daily: Jan 4, 2022 --> Total: 1,535,247.00, No Pending for Grading; Feb 4, 2022 --> Total: 1,110,084.00, Pending 55,375. Diff betwenn Jan 4 2022 and Feb 4 2022 = - 424,872 b, plus 55,375 b pending. Feb 4, 2021 --> Total: 1,638,515, pending 126,612.
It doesn't mean that price has to skyrocket :), but it doesn't provide a lot of optimism either. :) At least, as of yet.

Coffee has more attention than before but it sleeps quitely. Mean while BTC jumps nearly 10% because a TL broke... Algo and heard behaviour from pattern trading. I am a pattern trader but you need to also read it right. The larger the pattern the better but crypto spike here is a sell back to the trend line. Conversely, coffee is a safer feature trade . A few more sessions and 250 will be history as coffee heads up to 280 and a possible overshoot to low 300s before a lovely short back down. Even then I don't think then run us finished to historical highs.... We need to balance fundamentals with technicals.
There was a gap in the high 260-270's, a long time ago, if memory serves me right.Anybody know?
