Can anyone tell me why or what GSR (Gold to silver ratio ) would indicate if it rises. i know its the ratio between the two. But why does it get higher ? is it only supply and demand here or are ther other factors ? ..Im asking because I have been looking at the GSR, Dow/gold, sp500/gold and Gold/oil ratios and overall by my technial "Skills" :P they average are bullish. what will that mean for gold/silver ? my newbie brain can't really make and sense of it but if ratio goes up shouldn't gold fall ?

usually it indicates risk aversion atmosphere and expectation of economic activity slowdown when the ratio between them widens (go higher) coz gold is ultimate safe haven but silver has more industrial use than gold ,so if investors anticipate industrial contraction and economic slowdown ,naturally they prefer the safer haven which is gold in this case, hence the gap in their ratio widens

I¨m new to trading as some of you may know so i you already knew this, but I was just for fun looking around on VIX,Sp500,DXY and deutche bank. funny thing is that if you take a look at around the 24-06-2016 on weekly chart, when deutche bank broke new low... all the others started to do some crazy stuff, could it maybe be here the big players started to push the marked up to help Deutche bank ? ..or is there an other reason ?.
