Vanguard Convertible Securities Investor Fund (VCVSX) a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) was incepted in June 1986 and is managed by the Oaktree Capital Management. The objective of VCVSX is to seek income and long-term growth of capital. VCVSX invests mainly in convertible securities, which are hybrid securities that combine the investment characteristics of bonds and common stocks. Convertible securities include corporate bonds and preferred stocks that are convertible into common stock, as well as debt securities with warrants or common stock attached.

This Convertible Bond product, as of the last filing, allocates their fund in five major groups; High Yield Bond, Small Growth, Foreign Stock, Large Value and Emerging Market. Further, as of the last filing, Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS), Inc, Priceline Group Inc and Dycom Industries Inc were the top holdings for VCVSX.
