Today's Research Daily features reports on 16 major companies, including reports on Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX), Target (TGT) and T-Mobile (TMUS). Please note that the Zacks analyst team issues almost 80 research reports every morning, which you can access at this link >>

Target shares have lagged Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) this year and the reason for that is clear from the two retailers' quarterly earnings reports. While Wal-Mart dazzled investors this morning with all-around gains, Target appeared to be struggling on all fronts in its report yesterday, particulalry on the grocery front. These issues notwithstanding, the analyst likes management's efforts like the development of omni-channel capacities, diversification and localization of assortments along with emphasis on flexible format stores. Starbucks shares have struggled lately amid worries about the coffee chain's growth momentum, particulalry following the recent mixed quarterly report. While China remains a bright sport of Starbucks, the European and U.S. markets appear to be in need of a need a fresh catalyst. In the new research report issued today, the Zacks analyst discusses the pros & cons of investing in Starbucks shares at present, but likes the company's strong operating fundamentals, solid global retail footprint, successful innovations, best-in-class loyalty program along with digital offerings and rapid growth in the international markets. T-Mobile US has long been the scrappy underdog of the U.S. cell phone market, always willing to shake things up to gain market share from AT&T (NYSE:T) and Verizon. It has been hard to dislodge the leaders, but the company has been steadily gaining ground through its expanded 4G LTE network, the rising popularity of the Un-Carrier business, and well earned reputation for low-priced service plans. (You can read the full research report on T-Mobile US here>>) Please note that today's issue also features the updated research report on Sprint (S), the other contender for the number 3 spot in the U.S. market.
