Gold Slumps Due To Improved Appetite For Risk

Gold prices fell on Wednesday after investors head to carry out profit taking during the Asian trading session and the high European stocks, in addition to the declining levels of demand for gold in conjunction with the start of the holiday in India – the second largest gold consumer in the world - in which the physical demand for gold drops.

Thus, investors preferred to take profit from their investments in gold and return to equity markets, which showed a significant recovery in trading on Tuesday, influenced directly by corporate results and the investor’s appetite for risk.

Gold has seen significant support in yesterday’s trading due to the high levels of physical demand in India, following the start of the wedding season and the Diwali festival, but the impact of high demand levels began to decline gradually with holiday season approaching.
